Job Description:

• Lead, manage and train a team of Waferfab Operators and Technicians in the day-to-day operations to meet daily production targets.
• Optimize WIP management to maximize throughput and linearity.
•  Allocate and deploy manpower effectively for optimum productivity.
•  Plan out manpower training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
• Engage specialists regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand difficulties faced & identify potential areas for improvement.
•  Identify potential human error issues in the fab and work on corrective/preventive actions.
• Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus.
• Resolve and handle line-related, preventive maintenance issues and understand all equipment capacity/constraint issues so as to be able to identify, implement temporary solutions and work with Engineering team to resolve them.
•  Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance in work area by all personnel.
• Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity.
• Engage support groups like IE and Engineering to ensure accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling.
• Drive quality and productivity improvement projects.
• Lead/contribute in cross-module/cross-fab improvement projects.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities
• Highly driven, motivated, resourceful with good communication and problem solving skills
• Strong team player
• Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint software
